Josephine set up her Practice with St. James's Place in 1995. What began as a small London based Practice has steadily grown, and we now serve the local community from our offices in Berkshire, in the beautiful surroundings of Sheeplands Farm, where we have been based since 2016.

As her own career has progressed, she been proud to support her clients through their career development, as they manage life’s expected changes and the unexpected twists and turns that can impact their financial future.

Our Practice has developed a particular specialism in retirement planning. Our clients come from all walks of life, and we help them bridge the gap between their current financial position and future goals. For those nearing retirement, we provide the clarity and guidance for them to best understand their options and how to make the most of their pension.

You will hear us talk about “what if” scenarios – we will help you become really clear on what death benefits are payable and in what form if you went “under the bus”. Our aim is to make sure those answers are clear long before they are needed.

We would also like to ensure all our clients have written an up-to-date Will and have Powers of Attorney in place. 

A significant milestone for the Practice came in 2024 when Laura Hill qualified as an adviser, having been with the team since 2008. Her progression reflects our commitment to strengthening the Practice so we can continue supporting a growing client base with the high standards of service they value.

Laura and I are supported by a dedicated back-office team, who help us to arrange and prepare for client annual review meetings, manage research, investment processing and compliance, as well as responding to client enquiries promptly and efficiently. Their combined expertise and dedication ensure the smooth running of the Practice and allow us to maintain the regular and personal attention our clients need and expect.

Our location at Sheeplands Farm, Wargrave places us conveniently in the Thames Valley with excellent transport links and plenty of unrestricted parking. Our office is set in the middle of a thriving farm, operated by the biggest producer of soft fruit in the UK, which grows strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries throughout the year.

We are even lucky enough to have a strawberry vending machine at the end of the drive!
